So, after many weeks of on and off this painting, it's finally finished! I'm quite happy with this one, even if the scan reall does no justice to the colors... the original painting has more vivid hues, and I worked so hard to get them. *Sigh*
Making her hair has been quite difficult, as Daenerys is described with silver hair with golden reflexes (not sure if this is the right word in English), which is quite a pain to obtain with watercolors. The risk was to get her with just grey hair and I absolutely didn't want that! So I added several shades of grey, some yellow and then lots of white gouache. I hope the result is enough effective.
